Vinson & Elkins Advises L3Harris on Partnership with Department of War

Vinson & Elkins said it is representing L3Harris Technologies (NYSE: LHX) in connection with its proposed partnership with the U.S. Department of War.

L3Harris and the DoW agreed to the terms of a proposed DoW investment in L3Harris’ Missile Solutions business through a $1 billion convertible preferred security, which would automatically convert into common equity upon an initial public offering, the law firm said.

The Vinson & Elkins team includes partners Sebastian Tiller, Ben Heriaud, Jackson O’Maley and Sang Lee, senior associates Anthony Paladino and Glen Taylor and associates Teresa Robach, Hannah Avery, Hannah Lee, John Sasso, and Tyler Augustinsen.
