Gryphon Digital Mining Releases Carbon Emissions Data, Annual Assessments

By Karen Roman

Gryphon Digital Mining, Inc. (Nasdaq: GRYP) said it released carbon emissions data, including two annual assessments from CarbonChain, a third-party platform.

The company started 2024 with 100% renewable operations ahead of its merger and listing on Nasdaq. Gryphon said it believes transparency will drive the industry forward to achieve climate goals and boost responsible corporate decisions.

In 2023, the company received a bitcoin certification called Green Proofs by Energy Web, an independent non-profit, it said. Gryphon used over 98% renewable energy in 2023, it said.

“Gryphon’s ambition to exclusively use renewable energy is now publicly accounted for, and we hope their approach is adopted more widely as all eyes are on bitcoin companies as the industry booms,” said CarbonChain CEO Adam Hearne.
