Veeam Software has unveiled significant updates to its data resiliency offerings at the VeeamON Resiliency Summit. These updates are geared toward strengthening its role as a last line of defense against cyberattacks and ensuring quick data recovery.
Veeam Backup & Replication (VBR) 12.1 introduces AI-based malware detection during the backup process, enhancing attack detection speed and reducing data loss.
Veeam also introduces the Veeam Threat Center to identify threats and assess security risk. The Security and Compliance Analyzer scans the environment for compliance with best practices.
Additionally, Veeam plans to launch a Cyber Secure Program in early 2024, offering design, implementation, onboarding services, health checks, and incident recovery capabilities.
Veeam’s commitment to data resiliency complements its core focus on backup, making it an appealing option for organizations seeking proactive data protection and resiliency strategies.
