Tech Edge hosted a fireside chat on June 8 at Pax8 Beyond 2026 in Salt Lake City with Renee McCloden, Global Senior Director of Vendor Strategy and Programs at Pax8, and Tim Barton-Wines, Chief Commercial Officer at Halo Solutions. About Renee McCloden
Renee McCloden is the Global Senior Director of Vendor Strategy & Programs at Pax8, where she leads vendor relations, program development, and data-driven initiatives that support the company’s cloud marketplace for managed service providers. She has grown through multiple leadership roles at Pax8, building expertise in vendor strategy, community development, and incentive programs across Microsoft and AWS ecosystems. Prior to Pax8, she served as Vice President of Sales for North America at Pia, driving revenue growth and advancing automation and digital transformation initiatives. With a background spanning sales leadership, business development, and IT operations, McCloden is known for her ability to scale programs and foster high-impact partnerships. She holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Minnesota.
About Tim Barton-Wines
Tim joined Halo in 2018 as employee #11 of the now 250+ working at Halo, and is one half of the two Tim’s that started HaloPSA in 2019. Tim has achieved a number of awards and recognition in the channel over the years, including being named as CRN® Channel Chief and being recognised in the Channel Partners™ Circle of Excellence as Channel Leader of the Year.
