VERAXA Biotech AG (Nasdaq: VRXA)has expanded its R&D facility in Heidelberg, Germany, increasing laboratory space by more than 60% to support team growth and accelerate its cancer therapy programs toward clinical development, the company said.
The expansion strengthens research capabilities while allowing the company to remain in Heidelberg’s leading medical oncology hub and deepen collaborations with top research institutions, the company said.

“Securing the necessary space for our growing R&D organization was vital as we expand both internal drug development activities and plan ahead for an increased level of research activities within therapeutic alliances,” said Torsten Bürgermeister, Chief Financial Officer of VERAXA.
