Portillo’s 2Q Revenue Climbs, Teases New Long-Term Growth Strategy

Portillo’s Inc. (Nasdaq: PTLO) said second quarter total revenue was $199 million, increasing 5.6% from the year prior.

Net income was $7.2 million, a decrease of $2.9 million against the same period last year, and adjusted EBITDA was $29.8 million, down $0.2 million, it stated.

The company opened its first-ever airport location at Dallas-Fort Worth International, and will expand its home market with the first inline restaurant in downtown Chicago later this year, it said.

Portillo’s announced its 2026 fiscal outlook includes a restaurant-level adjusted EBITDA margin of 19.5% to 20.5% and an adjusted EBITDA of $92-$96 million.

“Q2 was highlighted by resilient underlying sales performance despite difficult promotional comparisons, as well as taking decisive actions to simplify the business to better support our priority of running great restaurants,” said Brett Patterson, Portillo’s CEO. “In parallel, we finalized our recent brand and consumer research which is helping to shape our long-term strategy focused on sustainable, profitable growth.”
