Medical tech company Nano-X Imaging Ltd. (Nasdaq: NNOX) said Nanox.ARC, its digital multi-source 3D tomosynthesis imaging system, received CE mark certification in the European market.
Nanox.ARC also has FDA clearance for general use in the U.S. and can potentially offer shorter waiting times, faster care and more efficient diagnosis to patients, the company stated.
“Receiving the CE mark represents a significant milestone in our global expansion effort,” said Erez Meltzer, Nanox CEO and acting Chairman. “This certification for whole-body imaging in Europe, combined with our existing distributors and ongoing pursuit of strategic partnerships, positions us to accelerate the Nanox.ARC’s commercial introduction across the region.”
