Vinson & Elkins said Conrad Bolston is rejoining the firm’s environmental practice in Washington, D.C.

Mr. Bolston previously served as a senior environmental counsel at the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) advising former Chairman Willie Phillips, the firm stated.

“Conrad’s experience serving in a senior role at FERC will enhance the environmental and energy regulatory work we do for clients,” said Ron Tenpas, Vinson & Elkins partner and chair of the firm’s environmental practice.

At the FERC, Bolston reviewed draft orders and regulations related to major infrastructure projects like pipelines and hydropower facilities, among other subjects.

Conrad Bolston earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Science and Policy from the University of Maryland and a Juris Doctor degree from Georgetown University Law Center. Before becoming a lawyer, Conrad played in the National Football League with the Green Bay Packers and Minnesota Vikings.
