The Futurum Group recently wrote a note about Zoom Video Communications, Inc. (NASDAQ: ZM) rebranding Zoom IQ for Sales as Zoom Revenue Accelerator, as it aims to better reflect the company’s vision of providing tools to support sales teams.
Zoom’s new capabilities to be included in the fall include Virtual Coach, Deal Risk Signals, and Discover Monthly, The Futurum Group stated.
Zoom’s Virtual Coach will provide a customizable training environment on new products and methodologies for sales team members, while Deal Risk Signals will allow sales teams to use a rules-based engine to send alerts if a deal has not moved forward within a specific time period, The Futurum Group said.
“Zoom’s focus on driving the visibility of its product portfolio beyond meetings and phone via Zoom Revenue Accelerator is essential to the company’s long-term success,” wrote Keith Kirkpatrick, analyst at The Futurum Group. “Particularly as other SaaS-based vendors increasingly incorporate and integrate collaboration tools and feature sets.”
